thank you so much for writing this. i relate to this a lot, having isolated myself a lot during my teenage years and refusing to talk and make friends, and hiding in my room with a book instead of going to class, i just couldn't bear to stand a conversation with people, i couldn't stand to be in the same room as people, it was driving me insane. i'm glad therapy has helped you and i'm sure you still have a way to go to feel better but one day you will and it'll be magical to have a conversation with you <3
I relate to this soo much. I went through a similar phase of isolation in 2021, and last year was a big year of forcing myself outside my comfort zone. I started my first year of university this year as well, and it's come with similar challenges. I know exactly what you mean when you describe the feeling of watching other people live their lives without really living your own, I've felt the same way. You put it into words really well. I enjoyed reading this!! :)
They really did you “good” with the Covid-Fearmongering. I don’t believe universities are the place to learn being open and honest about your feelings. Great place to start is doing authentic relating (search for it online) with people you trust a lil bit and open up together.
Quietness is a good thing too ❤️ So much of this resonates with my teenaged and twenty-something self. But sometimes it's magical to be yourself!
haven’t read yet but when i saw the word camden i just know im gonna love it. That song is sewn into my heart
